Ribbon for printers using 74 m long ribbon rolls, outer winding and inner cores of 12.7 mm (1/2") in diameter and 110 mm long.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT RIBBON

• ribbon width depends on the width of the labels being printed – we recommend a ribbon slightly wider than the labels
• ribbon length is chosen according to your printer's parameters – ribbon length affects the size of the roll (different printers have different space for the ribbon)
• winding of the colouring layer (inner or outer) is also determined by your printer's parameters (printing mechanism design)
• ribbon material must be chosen according to the material of the labels being printed and the desired durability

For the best printing results, perfect alignment between the printed substrate and the ribbon used is essential.

THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTING

Thermal transfer printing is a durable method of label printing. Insert the labels and colouring ribbon into the printer (the printer must be equipped for this type of printing method). By heating the print head, the ink is transferred from the ribbon onto the label.
